Genetech was building an smartphone / tablet application for older adults who lived in rural areas. They wanted to make sure that the app user interface worked well with their target demographic and that it could easily be used and interacted with. This meant having a strong knowledge of their particular target group and their specific needs when it came to technology knowledge, disabilities and other related factors.
I worked with Genetech and their research department to create UI / UX deliverables including: a persona, wireframes and prototypes for the smartphone / tablet application.
The persona, wireframes and prototype were built using graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
BFF.FM is an internet based radio station based out of San Francisco. Their radio station broadcasts via their website and their smartphone / tablet app. They are looking to increase their reach with a Chrome Web Store application that would be a custom music player that users could launch in Google Chrome to listen and view the current song / radio show.
I worked with BFF.FM to research their users and their needs through a process of surveys. Using the data I determined I create pre-production materials including user persona, application wireframe and prototype.
After client approval I built the Chrome Web Store application using HTML, CSS, Javascript and JSON.

Preview the AppI wanted to create a light-weight digital representation of the 1980s / 1990s novelty, the Magic 8 Ball. I wanted this to be a Google Chrome App that users could open when they needed an answer to life's important questions.
I researched the design, UI interface to give the users the best user experience. This was done through surveys and A/B testing.
After developing the design I coded it using a combination of HTML, CSS, Javascript and JSON.
